Goth clothing survey!

This may sound strange, but...where do you shop for goth clothes?  Online, a local store, etc.  How would you feel about shopping at a large goth store that had everything from dread falls to slave bracelets, chainmail, makeup, clothing, and more!  Let me know of there are any goth stores in other states as well. Let me know.  I am from Oklahoma and, well, we have squat, except for Hot Topic and Spencer's Gifts.    It gets rather boring!  The reason for asking is that I have thought about opening a store somewhere in central Oklahoma that caters to goths, cyberpunks, or whatever you want to call yourself.  Personally, I don't like labels.

I would love to open a store, preferably in an abandoned, large, spooky, haunted church with the interior decorated like a cave with everything the heart could possibly desire, in the way of fashion, in one store.

But, I need to know if there is a market for something like this, here, in this cow-tippin, shit-kicking, redneck, backwoods (guess I better shut up!) state of Oklahoma.  I'm not knocking our state, but geez!  The first thing that comes to mind when someone says 'Oklahoma' is cowboys and indians!
Is there anyone else out there from Oklahoma?  Let me know!   Thankx...drop me a comment or message with your opinions!

I'm lucky, living where I do we have plenty of goth/alt shops. I can't imagine life without them!
I love Primark but now and again I just feel the urge to buy something crazy

This is a very interesting question - I'm sure there'll be some cool answers! For mine...

Online is of course a great way - there are alot of good places on the web...not to mention the easy choice of ebay! Stores catering to gothic/rocknroll tastes are rare & can be hard to find, but you can still dress the way you like without 1 near - you just have to be creative & openminded! Thrift stores are great since you never know what you'll find - some of my fav pieces were found in thrift stores...another benefit being that you might find something not only cheap but really unique(say from another era, or a diff place etc). Garage sales are similar but the odds are quite slim you'll find something since it's a much smaller scale & usually from only 1 person...so I wouldn't really bother with that too much....

Any store can have appropriate gear - just gotta look & think of it in a different context. Any store you go in, even 1 you hate , you gotta look... I've bought things from stores you'd never think of having dark stuff - JCPenney, Walmart, Big Lots, Dollar stores, Victorias Secret, Bloomingdales, etc. Even The Gap can have cool stuff - they have some pretty great belts sometimes(I'm not kidding)! In the end, it really doesn't matter where you got your stuff if you like it.

Hope this helps - good luck!
