I don't really like this era anymore. I thought I did at one point, but my vision seems to have been clouded. Maybe it's just clouded now and the rain is heavier. I'm not really sure.
I don't seem to understand how so many are able to complain so easily. You sit here, listening to your playlists or ipod, waiting for the next text to appear on your cellphone, and getting mad because the computer won't load faster than a second. The world is at our fingertips and yet we use it for all the wrong reasons. Downloading porn seems to be the biggest one, and we'll touch on that one later...maybe. 
We've become lazy, impatient, and unhealthy.
We become irritated because things aren't instantly in our hands the second we want them to be there.
We become frustrated because we can't shed those couple of pounds to satisfy not only ourselves, but more so the people around us. Well, I'm going to give you some advice; if you want to lose weight, get off your lazy ass and do something about it!
Our hands tremble as we scream at the ones we love. Blame them for the pain that is tearing apart our chests and threatening our inner existance. Yet, we fail to see the fact that they are still here. That one day, they'll be gone and be no more than a memory.
We sit up late at night, battling demons, knowing how hard it is at times. Yet, we go and help contribute to so many more people's demons in one way or another.
We say we are helpful and amazing but we won't even spend a few minutes emptying out cans from the cabinet in the kitchen to donate to a shelter. We won't help out with the hungry. We shove our money in our pockets with a greedy glint in our eyes without the slightest want to help someone in need. Not truly caring about the man down the street who makes a bed out of newspaper and cardboard.  
We have wars that seem to lead to pointlessness, empty-handedness, and nothing to call for but a body count and debt.
We call "seperation of church and state". And, yet gay marriage is still illegal in so many states. If church and state were truly seperate, those religious idiots in the system, would for once in their damned lives, remember that love has NOTHING to do with gender, and if a gay couple wants to get married, they should be able to. Just because the bible condemns it doesn't make it a fucking law!
"Well, some people just want to keep the tradition of marriage being between a man and a woman".
Screw tradition! We've broken it before. If we hadn't women would still be at home with no other purpose than to cook, clean, and pop out kids.
We've broken tradition so many times before, we can do it again.
"War does not determine the winner. Just whose left"-i don't know.
Ok, i'm done for now. My mouth is dry with wordless things to say as my fingers type these petty words that so many people will not even glance over. My eyes are sore and my mind is pounding with questions and dislike. Music is playing in my mind and confusion for everything around me is questioning every breath I take. My movements seem to be calculated through watchful eyes and I'm ready to make my departure.
Before I leave though, I'd just like to point out. I am no acception to any of this. I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. I am sitting here, typing away while listening to an iPod playlist. I do become angry because things aren't quickier. And I am pretty lazy. I'm not going to deny that. I'm not. But, I will do my best to change somehow.
