Mergel Kratzer evolved from the barren enviroments of Gotland.
Inspiration from a cementfactory combined with fast arpeggiated synthesiezers and hammering basslines created the sound. A hoarse voice and some distorted beats added the EBM-touch...
Back in 2005 when it all started, it was just Joel and Kalle. They decided to start a band with one clear ambition; to make a better live show than most of the electronic bands out there. And there was only one way to go: the way through hard work practice.
Time passed on and the band spread their wings. They are now located all over the country of Sweden, with their primary base in the suburban outskirts of Gothenburg. Some members have gone, some new has been recruited, and they all get together at their gigs.
Did they succeed with their live performances? Well, I think you have to see them and judge for your self. And they will come to you, yes they will. To hook you up. They think they're unstoppable. And maybe they are...
