In the Studio today: Chris M.                                                     November 9th 2007

Mission accomplished,

today (Friday) we have finished the works on the drums. Markus has prepared the drum tracks for  the mix at Tue Madsen, so that we will have more time for the actual mix. Markus is a great guy and unbearable. After editing the tracks, our first impression of the sound is confirmed even more, as the rough drum sound already kills and sounds really massive through the monitors of the studio and it causes a satisfied smile of our drummer Chris – if this is not a good start!

As announced we’ll discover Mellrichstadt tomorrow and afterwards wait for the two guitarists, who will directly come from their gig with Ahab to the studio at night, as the guitar recordings will already start on Sunday morning at 9 o’clock.

Mission accomplished,

am heutigen Freitag haben wir die Arbeiten am Schlagzeug soweit beendet. Markus hat die Drumspuren für den Mix bei Tue Madsen schon vor- und aufbereitet, so dass wir mehr Zeit für den eigentlichen Mix haben werden – Markus ist ein klasse Kerl und unbezahlbar! Nach der Bearbeitung hat sich unser Ersteindruck des Sounds umso mehr bestätigt, denn der rohe Drumsound knallt fett über die Studiomonitore und bewirkt ein zufriedenes Grinsen unseres Drummers Chris – na wenn das nicht mal ein guter Start ist.

Morgen werden wir wie angekündigt Mellrichstadt erkunden und dann auf die beiden Gitarristen warten, die in der Nacht zum Sonntag direkt von ihrem Gig mit AHAB ins Studio kommen werden, denn am Sonntag geht es schon um 9.00 Uhr morgens los…
