Hey folks,

today the recordings for our second album „Nordlys“ have started. As announced, you will be fed with short daily news around the production process. Yesterday (Sunday) the drumkit has been built up. Today all the important preparations have been done by Markus Stock (The Vision Bleak); tuning the drumheads, positioning of the microphones and doing the soundcheck.

At around 4 p.m. all settings have been saved, so that there was still enough time for starting with the first song – just 2 hours later Chris had done this song! And he obviously had a lot of fun by playing his new drum kit.

The last hour has been used to start with the recordings of the second song. Chris played the first third, until at 7 p.m they left work off.

Summary of the day: we are finally back in the studio again and everything goes pretty well – fucking great!

Hey Folks,

heute haben die Aufnahmen zu unserem 2.ten Album „Nordlys“ begonnen. Wie angekündigt werdet ihr hier täglich mit kurzen Newsmeldungen rund um die Produktion versorgt. Am gestrigen Sonntag wurde das Drumkit aufgebaut. Heute wurden dann alle wichtigen Vorbereitungen von Markus Stock (The Vision Bleak) getroffen: die Felle gestimmt, die Mikrofonierung vorgenommen und der Soundcheck durchgeführt.

Gegen 16.00 Uhr waren alle Einstellungen gespeichert, so dass wir noch genügend Zeit hatten den ersten Song anzugehen – keine 2 Stunden später hatte Chris diesen auch im Kasten und hatte sichtlich Freude am drumming.

Die letzte Stunde wurde genutzt, um den zweiten Song anzugehen, von dem Chris das erste Drittel auch noch eingespielte, bevor es um 19.00 Uhr „Feierabend“ hieß.

Fazit des Tages: wir sind endlich wieder im Studio und alles läuft bisher wie am Schnürchen – coole Sache!
