I'm Eric, the productive and industrious half of Traumlos, a new project, and Tsyklonika, a dead one.  I used to write dark, sad songs, but I'm finding it harder to do that these days due to circumstances only partly in my control.  =)  (ooh, how mysterious) (yes, wendy, i know i'm more fun now, haha)

I play keyboards, program things, turn knobs, move sliders, accidentally turn levels up to 11 whenever mics happen to get right in front of monitors, and otherwise do my best to work as an agent of musical chaos.

The music I like depends largely on the mood I'm in, and doesn't always have *anything* to do with the music I make, heehee. I'm kind of over my whiny self-indulgent stage from last summer (for now...fear not, it will return).

My favourite music at the moment:  EnMass (and basically anything Randy Boyer spins), Code 64, Rotersand, Amduscia, Magdelayna, Maor Levi (Shapes = greatness!!!), AN-2, Above and Beyond, Blank & Jones, DJ Shah, anything Tiësto or Armin van Buuren spin, I:Scintilla (yay for them touring with CXS!), Natlife, and a few others.  Lots of trance these days, but I'm sure it will change again before I finish writing this.

Other things I like, in no particular order: cats, dying my hair strange colours, Marlene Dietrich, HP Lovecraft, a certain Russian girl who shall remain nameless, people who *think*, old books, medieval history, the French Alps, watching the sun rise, the moon, cosmonauts, Tolkien, heavily processed canned meat, hacking ipsec, Cary Grant, fashion, witches, bad sci fi, good sci fi, the monkey (not monkeys...THE monkey), gothic *, Jen Parkin, anyone who isn't like everyone else, and of course Wendy, even though she took me off her top friends and won't put me back.

Things I dislike: hungry alligators, people who have opinions based on cliches and assumptions, Alliance incompetence in BGs (oh wait...I actually like that), network television, intolerance (hmmm...that should probably go without saying)...
