neurobionix

At the beginning, we started as a Two-Person project. We got to know each other through an ad on the web community schwarzes-hamburg.de in spring 2002. It was where we discovered our similar interests in the world of music and the 'black' scene. The interest all of us shared in self-made electronic music, the mutual support, and participation in already existing projects helped to lay the foundation of starting a project together.

Each one of us shared his individual strengths and talents with the group. The song 'Pain of Cancer' happened to emerge on this basis and proved our cooperation worthwhile for future projects. It encouraged us to launch a so-called 'fun project' — which was initially a 'no name' product — in summer 2005.

After the WGT 2006 — under the influence of a lot of alcohol — the song 'Stahlnagel' was born. It deals with the annoying ankle bells the 'hardcore goths' were wearing, against which we developed a major 'humorous' resentment in the course of the festival. Even the extensive efforts involved in recording the individual jingling sounds of the bells did not stop us from realising this song.

In the meantime, we have agreed on the unique project name: neurobioniX and its definition:

neurobioniX is dedicated to the development of electronic devices, such as synthesisers, artificial intelligence sound parts, and electronically generated music parts. These technologies are used to stimulate the peripheral nervous system and to increase brain paralyses rapidly and precisely.

Focus of this statement is the influence our perception has on neurological functions through sounds and rhythms. The human body is one of nature's miracles. With all its facets, inexplicable phenomena in regard to individual metabolic processes, our organism remains a medically scientific mystery. Music has an impact on perception and is thus observably able to lead the body to unusual implications. I also consistently subjected myself to an 'uncommon electronically generated sound and music therapy' — in particular through the influences of bands as monolith, Skinny Puppy, Xotox, Sonar, Ah-Cama Sotz, or Dive.

Now things are getting serious, and I may look forward to a turbulent future:

Serious reasons were the decision to stop this project for unknown time.

Rare free time in cause of my profession are the reason for terminate neurobioniX as a Two-Person-Projekt.

But the statement is already alive:

... for distorted visions in a confused world!
