Okay, let me start off by saying EEEE FIZZY!! See http://elterriblefizzy.livejournal.com/ for details. XP
Now, on to my night. Everything was fine when we got to the Agora, and then suddenly…we find out that we can only get four free tickets. We have to pitch in to get twenty bucks for the fifth. Leslie insisted that it was okay, everything in me said it wasn’t, so Edgar and I paid for her ticket. She takes the motherfucking thing back and gets the refund, FINALLY, after we were ALREADY THERE, that she hadn’t been feeling well. SO, TELL A BITCH!! We could’ve gotten mom to take us, dipshit.
But, the drama happened after someone across the room addresses me with something to the effect of “Do I know you from the internet?” to which I replied “MySpace, Trig, or LiveJournal?” to which at some point she replied “I’m Fizzy!” The happy was there, but then after the drama, the happy was gone. So I get in there talking to Fizzy, make my way to the merch stand, then head off to the Ballroom where we’d sent Stephon to save us a place right up front. He had us front row center. There we made more friends.
Let me tell you that I had no idea what would happen with the first three bands.
Band number one: Night Kills the Day.
Cue one gorgeous blue-eyed blonde-haired devil in an angel’s body, stopping and just leaning down on me. I was clueless as to why he was trying to get so close to my face, but, hey…I wasn’t complaining. The man was hot. Hot. I’m glad they’re not on Trig, as far as I know… Dude took Edgar’s hat and put it on and was generally being awesome. Of course, we all learned quite quickly that he’d take something from you or reach out and touch you, amusingly enough.
Anyway, Luke (we later found that that was said angel/demon thing’s name) put on a hell of a show. If he keeps that up, then he’s truly gained himself a new fan. I love it when a band can get down and dirty with the crowd. Unfortunately, I didn’t exactly have the money to buy their CD.
We met Luke after the show, found out that he knows Mat Devine, and we got a couple of pictures with him. He’s rather snuggly. Heh…
I’m so gonna go to another of their shows, whether they open or headline, because they were awesome.
Band number two: Some band whose name I don’t even remember, mostly because they didn’t introduce themselves.
Hated it. I fucking hated it. If the singer dared call his bouncing around the stage, whipping the mic cord so it hits someone in the face, dumping water over his head and drooling, or glaring so hard at someone after his set crowd interaction, well…needless to say I saw why they were giving their CDs away. I wouldn’t give ‘em a fucking penny.
Why the hell were they opening for the Eyes?
Band number three: Wednesday 13.
o.o’ I don’t think there’s much to say. I heard through the grapevine that they were good, but damn! I love their style (music, dress; take it as you will). Never have I been encouraged to flick someone off and scream “FUCK!” at the top of my lungs. I might like saying ‘fuck’ too much, though. I have issues like that. Fell in love with them, too. Need money for Wednesday 13 shit. Quickly.
Band number four: The 69 Eyes.
…need I say more?
Well, I wouldn’t be trying to blog about this at two in the morning if I wasn’t going to say more, right? As usual, Hell of a show. I got some pictures to die for (in my mind) with my spot right by the stage. Jyrki seems to be turning into a gothic Elvis with his little dances involving a lot of hip action (heh). I seemed to miss him every time he leaned closer, though. Ah, well…
What made up for that was the fact that Bazie kept coming close enough for some gorgeous shots and Timo crossed the stage and was staring into my camera for a minute there. Archzie didn’t get as close, but I did get some fun shots of him. I think I got one of him near the drums, but I don’t remember.
Now, I have a few things to say about Jussi. First is this: He needs to SIT STILL FOR A MINUTE! That said, I move on to the next thing: I wish I had his balance. Third: I wish I had his energy. Fourth: Thanks for the little beer drops, because that actually affected one of my pictures. The flash bounced off of them…it’s awesome, I think. Now, when I go into number five, I giggle. Because it was cute. Like, too cute for words cute. We had no idea what was going on and he got up behind his drums and started bouncing and squirming after a bit of searching around. It kind of went like this: Look longingly at Bazie or a roadie backstage while hop-squirm-dancing, turn around and look at either Archzie or Timo-Timo while doing the same hopping thing, continue hop-squirm-dance after turning to Bazie again, get a beer tossed to him from stage left (AKA out of fucking nowhere), light up, scream “Yes!”, sit down, drink contently. The last thing I have to say is this: Jussi69, you are fucking awesome. I know I didn’t have the wristband for the meet and greet, so I couldn’t get an autograph, picture, or proper conversation or anything, but the hug was enough. The happy was gone, and then it came running back. You don’t have to apologize for the whole shouldering the chin thing because I injure myself/get injured so many times it’s insane…and the hug made me forget about it. It doesn’t even hurt now. Hee…
Still haven’t met Timo. Need a Timo hug. And a Jyrki hug, when I’m not shoving my phone at him. >.>
O.o’ Yeah, like they’re really gonna read this…
Anyway, that was my night in a nutshell. Excluding Stephon (future roommate) meeting/getting a picture with/getting an autograph from Jussi. Still pissy about that. At least I lifted got a couple of guitar picks, right?
PS: Someone remind me to bring my own water next time I go to a show, huh?
Pictures will be posted when I feel like flipping the majority of them.
Edit: All pictures are now up!

I wasn't sure if I'd ever find you agin, but IT 'S YOU!!!!
It's Chelsea, the blond chick in the leather coat with the waterbottle from the Agora pit, where I told you to grab Bazie's picks after they ran offstage!!!
So... yeah... *cough* major fangirl moment there.
Man do I have something to show YOU!
