Charles Corletta
25 year old Rockland County native Charles Corletta started his musical career at the age of 14 when he along with fellow Pinion guitarist Chirag Pujara, formed the melodic death metal band Arbitrary.

Arbitrary gained international recognition after they opened for Swedish melodic deal metal pioneers IN FLAMES, as well as Six Feet Under, Walls Of Jericho, Earth Crisis, and Symphony X.
In early 2000 Arbitrary went on to become runners up in a nation wide talent search held at the legendary Lamour night club in Bay ridge Brooklyn.
After years of playing live and recording Arbitrary finally got the exposure they needed by gaining regular rotation for their singles "A Perfect World," Stare Without A face," and Mending Through Time," on Ny/NJ's number one metal station 89.5 WSOU.
Like most young bands Arbitrary struggled financially and the members went their separate ways in 2003.
In mid 2003 Charles Corletta agreed to help out fellow Rockland County hard-core band World's Demise by playing and recording drums on their 2003 album "The Innocent Burn."

It's ironic to learn that Corletta would later enlist the services of former World's Demise vocal Mike Hervman to take on the role of lead vocals for PINION.
Charles Corletta eventually took a long awaited rest and steped away from the kit in 2005 after playing in the experimental metal-core band The Sequel.
In mid 2006 Corletta formed the metal-core super group now known as PINION along with long time friend and guitar prodigy Dave Dougherty, Former Arbitrary guitarist/best friend Chirag Pujara, Long time friend/Former Close My Eyes Bassist Chris Taylor, and longtime friend/former World's Demise vocalist Mike Hervman.
"Music and drumming is everything to me. It's my passion, my emotion, and my reason for life. There is no greater feeling then getting on a stage with your friends and creating a experience that will last a life time. Expect great things from this band in 2008."
