The Infernal Week part 3 - HIM in London

Day 3. I had a nice lie-in, attempted to give the room a bit of a tidy, then headed to Liverpool Street Station to meet up with Emma. Decided I'd walk it since I wasn't going to be getting to see much of London. The walk only took about 40 mins and I didn't get lost! Had a bit of a giggle as I walked through Cheapside and had to text my Mum to say that's where I was. The only other tourist sight that I saw on this trip was the London Eye from the corridor of the hotel! Met Emma nice and easily and headed back for her to dump her stuff  in the room.

Turned the corner and who do I find standing outside the hotel frozen to the bone and desperate on a pee? Yip, Storm had been queueing from about 5am (I think)! Was informed that Fiona was on her way so we waited outside for her to pull up in the taxi, with the most rediculious pull along suitcase I've ever seen!! So, after dumping stuff in rooms and having a quick warm up we headed out to the Astoria. Thanks to Fiona we were having a sing-a-long to Turisas' Rasputin for the next 3 days! Cheers for that one! Later on we were joined by Ashley and Claire and spent the next wee while having a good wee chat.

Doors open, and we managed to get pretty good spaces again. Claire and Ashley decided to stand near the back, Storm was on the barriers and Fiona and I were a row or two back. There was some total - probably drunk - (Did you know they are allowed cans in the venues in England?) prick behind us during Kill Hannah who, after a few kicks in the shins decided to move elsewhere.

Time for HIM then. Ville in his purple suit again but this time with a black shirt underneath - very nice - and still no sign of the bloody hat! Sound wasn't as good at this gig, vocals were a bit harder to hear but then it's not the Barras is it? Same set list as before and this time we got the hat onstage for Gas!! Storm threw like a trooper and Ville noticed the hat. He picked it up, read the message and passed it to Gas who put it on for us. All in all another great night. After this gig we all split up. Ashley went back to her's with Claire, Strom picked up her stuff from Fiona's room and Emma and I headed to our room. Fiona headed up later and we sat having a giggle for a few hours before eventually all heading to bed ready for the early start we were going to be having the next day!
