This is ridiculous

Quote:

A Little Less Skin Please

I am not a prude, but I am sick of being served food by women wearing skimpy clothing. I have tea towels with more fabric than some of these women's clothes.

They are everywhere. They work in kiosks in the malls, they lead me to my seat in restuarants and they bring me my food. Ladies, I commend you for having a job and you don't have to be clad head to toe in fabric but for heaven's sake, pull up your pants, pull down your top to cover your bare back. tuck in your bra straps/breasts/or wear a shirt that covers them.

And if you have tattoos on your butt, back, belly or breasts and I can see them, then you're not wearing enough clothing to be serving my food.

I realize at some businesses, dressing like a hussy is a condition of employment, but these women can always find another job. Have some respect for yourselves. You are the bank managers, CEOs, mothers and perhaps mayors of the future. Start now by respecting the people you are serving.

Cijay Morgan

This might be a little humor on my part...

These are the conclusions that I've come to after reading what this ignorant excuse for a human being had to say:

1. This retard has been spending his time eating at Hooters, even though he claims that he realizes 'dressing like a hussy is a condition of employment' at some places.

2. This idiot has been spending his time looking at underage, chubby, teenage girls who pointlessly cruise the mall in clothing two sizes too small. He's disguising his mock disgust, using waitresses as an excuse, because he's in denial that he desires underage pussy.

3. He's sexually frustrated, has a cold wife, and hasn't gotten laid in years. Perhaps his wife found out about his mistress and they both left him. Now any glimpse of skin on a woman reminds him of what a failure he is.

4. He hates that women might actually have a chance to go beyond being a housewife. He attempts to disguise by mentioning that he doesn't believe a woman needs to be covered head to toe, alluding to the situation of women in the middle east. Everyone seems to be sympathetic to this plight, so he hopes that he can prove he's only an average, everyday person by mentioning something that everyone can relate to.

5. He IS a prude, although he claims he is not. I could be wrong, but when people claim something in such black and white terms, it usually means that they are exactly what they're saying they are not.

6. He figures that by using a colloquial and rather crude writing style, that he might get through to these waitresses who apparently are so disrepctful of themselves that they haven't attained enough education to comprehend formal writing. In reality, he just makes himself look even more idiotic.

My personal favorite:

7. He's a closet homosexual, and can't come to terms with it so he's forced to take his frustrations out on young women.

I know men that are tired of seeing skin everywhere too, but from some of the other stuff that was published along with it, the assumption is fairly safe. From what I understand, Cijay is a male name. At least, it is when used around here.

The first part was a little humor, not to be taken seriously at all.
The "letter" I sent to the paper DOES assume a male wrote the original, but the paper probably won't publish it anyways, and if they do feel like publishing it, and the original writer was female, the paper has the right to edit the piece anyhow.

You made some bold assumptions based on the premise that it was a man.  I know few men who tire from seeing female skin.

And I do not know what a tea towel is.

And I enjoy low rider jeans and small t-shirts because the "midriff" is the sexiest part of a female body

It actually sounds like a woman. Few men are going to know what a tea towel is let alone call themselves a prude. LOL

Because I couldn't reply to the newspaper with that, and because people like this narrow minded idiot annoy me, I took it upon myself to write a letter in reply back to the local paper. I don't know anyone else who takes the time to do this, but at least it keeps me amused.

I would like to know what restaurants the disgruntled gentleman who despises tattoos and skin has been frequenting. In my shopping and dining experiences I have never encountered this problem that he speaks of. In fact, employees of fine dining establishments and family restaurants dress quite modestly and some of the attire these employees wear verges on sophisticated and elegant.

If this gentleman truly believes that someone with a slightly visible tattoo is not fit to serve him dinner, perhaps he should seek another place in which to eat filled with the same type of narrow minded individuals. If the employers believed that someone was not fit to serve customers simply because of a piece of artwork, he or she would not have been hired in the first place. In this case, and with this set of beliefs, it seems as though the customer is the one being disrespectful in this situation. If the waitress is polite, courteous and doing her job well, that should be enough to satisfy diners.

This gentleman complains that these women may be the “bank managers, CEOs, mothers and perhaps mayors of the future”, seemingly suggesting that it is highly inappropriate for a woman in any of these positions to dress sophisticated or display a tattoo. He may be shocked to find out that some mothers and high ranking female executives already have tattoos, just like many males.

It is not a lack of respect for oneself that is holding these woman back, it is oppressive, outdated and discriminatory attitudes like these that are the culprit.
