The One laptop per child project has released the first notebooks. For about 150 dollars per piece this could be an affordable pc for children in developing countries.
The picture above shows the wordprocessor of the system in an emulator. So far I couldn't get the f*cking net...

.... and they were so very great. It was terribly hot so they were almost dying on stage, but they did a great show.
