I used to go to raves and parties like 10 years ago, just to get away on the weekends. But now I like to hang out at home usually. Ive become a homeboy.
I like Drum & Bass (nearly all d&b producers write good music these days. The ones who dont seem to live in San Fran or Germany). I like trance( theres good and bad trance. Most good shit comes from Holland Germany and the UK. There are maybe several dozen US producers worth noting). House can be really good or really bad. The local gay bars really give dj's and house music a bad name. They only play crap. Its like, feed people enough drugs or alcohol and they will dance to anything. Especially when the scene is based on extacy and anal sex, and not even on music. Everybody has an opinion and thats mine.
I dont really care for hip-hop, or rap, or gangsta-thugs. BUT I DID DATE A BLACK GIRL ONCE.
