I am a musician. I class myself as a guitar based singer/songwriter Since 2004 I have worked together with my music mates Darius,Donatas and Rytis in a band called "Land" www.landband.net www.myspace.com/landbandnet The music of "Land" could be classified as contemporary pop/rock with an alternative twist. The lyrics are written around anti-militaristic, social and even romantic themes, often co-written with my Icelandic friend Odinn Albertsson and British a musician songwriter Jan Bedford. On the 18th of July 2005 our debut album "You Take The Waters" was released in homeland Lithuania. And On the 1st of June, "Land" signed a worldwide publishing deal with UNIVERSAL Music Publishing Group Turkey on the singles "Advent of Angels" and "You take the Waters" ! Basically we play in festivals and in the big city's small clubs ;) At the moment "Land" is preparing for performing at the biggest music festivals in Baltic States: 5. July - "Fontaine Festival 2008" (Liepaja, Latvia) 18. July - "Positivus AB Festival 2008" (Riga, Latvia) 17. August - "Be2gether Festival 2008" (Norvilishkes,Lithuania) Although we are currently working on our new original material for the forthcoming second album, we are eager and ready to perform.
