The Sable Band is based around brothers Chris and Jeff Sable. Growing up in a middle Illinois farm town taught the Sable brothers basic blue collar, farm values that shine through in their brand of country music. Jeff and Chris have been writing and recording music for over fifteen years, and through the years have been constantly crafting thier brand of music. Sounding a bit like Pat Green, Keith Urban, and Jack Ingram, the band, consisting of Jeff Sable on lead vocals and lead guitar, Chris Sable on bass, Jake Hansleman on drums, and Mike Downing on sax, has honed their sound playing thousands of different gigs. Several years of touring, both nationally and internationally, opening for many national acts, and playing from festival stages to dive bars has taught them how to connect with all kinds of audiences. Love, Life and Family is the basic message of the music, and with an upcoming national single release, and a new manager the future looks very promising for The Sable Band.
