Alcohol Consumption:

Wine with dinner when I'm sharing a meal, drinks with friends kinda consumption.

Northcentric:

In my world north is up. South is down. Therefore anything that happens in Mainland US happens 'down there'. I've never understood the idea of south being up in the Northern hemmisphere. All my maps show north as up. I am northcentric and not afraid to admit it.

Wine:

I'm on a pinot noir kick these days- quail's gate and burrowing owl are my current favorites = both British Columbian and both limited production and both are better than anything else around right now. If you can get your hands on some, I recommend that you do so. If you want to buy my favour... buy me wine from either.

Coming Through The Slaughter, Guns, Germs and Steel, The Truth About Stories, Atlas Shrugged, Dancing With A Ghost, Most of Umberto Eco's work, Pride and Prejudice, The Third Chimpanzee, The Ship Who Sang, Fear No Evil (guilty Pleasure), 1984, The Historian, Wicked, Size of the World, I've read almost all of Anne Rice's work - loved the Sleeping Beauty books too... I could go on and on, I love to read...

Food:

Sushi, crazy pastas like brie and garlic ravioli, rice pudding, pie, creme brule, doritos, smart food popcorn, prawns, crab, salmon, salad rolls, pho with lots of cilantro and chili oil, edamame, grapes ... I like most foods that are either dark green or orange - from doritos t o squash, from bok choi to guacamole. Comfort food favorite is cedar planked sockeye salmon, brown rice and kale cooked in garlic, chili and olive oil. ... If I only had five days to live I'd put alfredo sauce on everything. ... Those horrible butter tarts you can buy at a gas station - you know, the ones that are all sugar and chemicals and without any fruit... I love those.
