I didn't get the chance to ask her about the CG article last night, but I did hear that what she submitted was 1000x better.  C'est la vie.  The day mainstream media carry the 'truth' is the day my blogs are mainstream.  I've re-read the piece and while it's true that only people with inside knowlege, like me I guess, can appreciate what was published and what wasn't in a larger context, it's not a bad piece of work. 

I've held off on this for ages but damn, I can't not say it... Bertha, who likes to call herself the 'lone voice of dissent' has run unsuccessfully for council for years. And her family is big enough to sway the votes, should voting came down strictly to family supporting family, which it doesn't.  Her own community doesn't want her in government, if they did, they'd vote her in.   There's a lot more I'd like to say, but it's not my place.  I'm a friend, not a community member.
