Dear God.
I'm sorry that I haven't spoken to you recently. I mean, I've been speaking AT you every day for 30 odd years, but I haven't actually spoken TO YOU recently.
I miss you. A LOT. And that is not Biblical in any way. Although you are a damned attractive Man. (In a Charlton Heston kind of way). Just don't be embarassing like he is now. Keep the Omega Man hoodoo going! That earns you bonus points.
I remember the old days when You were with me. Good times, hey?
I'm not proud, by any measure. It's just that you never responded to ANY of my questions. I was not looking for proof. Anything would have done, really.
And I am not lost on the whole Father thing. I think the real irony is that I was looking to You to be my father. He lied to me. Did you? Well you didn't actually lie. You just stood to the side and did your stuff. My question is, just what did you do? I've seen bugger-all, and I've only been part of the telecast recently.
It's not the injustice.
It's not the inequality.
It's not the fact that I'm a FAG ENABLER and proud of it!
It's not the fact that the North American government has been flying Your flag for a century and relying on The Media to back them up.
Honestly, as a former bureauocrat, I don't see how You can pass the buck any more.
There comes a point when You have to say "I'm sorry for all the things that have been done in My name. I should have laid them to waste when I had the chance. I appreciate Mel's support, but he's Catholic and must be forgiven for his transgressions"
And yes, I find Marilyn Manson offensive too. His lyrics and artwork are valuable, but the music is just SO tepid. Do you think he's read any Dante? My guess is that his knowledge of You has been gleaned from Alice Cooper. Of course Vincent got his ideas from his twisted father. And by that I do not mean Vince McMahon. That is beyond my ken.
