Greetings, I'm Russ... thirtysomething, hairy, bass-playing computer geek.
Cynical, sarcastic and capable of swearing with incredible fluency, but I have a heart of gold, really.
Married to the awesome Gwen, and we are owned by four cats - Phee, Leia, Maiiah and Binx.
Metalhead, but with a weakness for jazz, opera, 80s pop and cheesy love songs. Especially big on overblown prog rock and musical excess!
I'm a bass player, currently between projects. But if you want to hear me, I played bass until very recently in the band 5th Man Down (myspace). I also used to play bass in the band Wallflower, years ago. I also have a little solo project on the go right now - give it a listen if you like (I'll be doing a Trig profile for this soon!)
I use, and love: Sei basses, Spector basses, G&L basses, Eden Nemesis amps, Line6 effects, and Apple computers.
I have quite a lot of piercings and tattoos, but I have an IAM page over on BME where I go into that stuff in more depth. I also have a proper blog elsewhere, but I'm not telling you where!
