Between intense school work, research projects, and ongoing fiascos, I've managed to form some kind of game plan for Valentines Day. Well...sort of.  I took the time this year to hand-make a good portion of my valentines, just to give them a more personal touch.  I was pretty wary of the whole idea of me + scissors + glue + paper, but I've done a pretty good job so far .  The only thing I'm not so happy about is of course, the lack of a boyfriend-let alone a date, once again for the big day.  I know Valentine's Day is so cliche, but it's just a reminder of what I've never been fully able to have.  I'm hoping something will come about to make the day much more great, but until then I'm sticking to cooking my friend and I a Valentine's dinner along with a nice strawberry cake!
