The Black Heart Blisters

Mike Cilano and Steven Blaqart (real name Steven Bailey) met in 1997 in a local heavy metal club in Rochester , New York . They were both in different bands at the time but liked each others music immediately. The two remained friends and kept in contact throughout the years but never played together until 2003, when Mike ended up filling the vacant Bass Player position in The Villains while they searched out a replacement. It was in that time that they wrote their first piece of music together, Sorrow Song, and the positive writing atmosphere of that collaboration was the seed that would eventually grow to become The Black Heart Blisters.

 

The melding of their two musical backgrounds are what drew them to the project, and the music that you hear is a result of their dedication, willingness to advance, and unrelenting attitude toward treading new ground with each and every note.

Heavy Punk Rock with an attitude. Catchy, sweeping guitars with fast, intense drumming layered with melodic and aggressive vocals. Play it loud!

We were surfing the net and came across this amazing video about a guy who gets his heart ripped out...literally.
