The Humour

Hey everybody!!! I havent posted a blog up here for quite some time now so thought i would fill you all in on whats been happening with the band....

well around 2 months ago now jay (our bassist) decided to leave the band, for a number of reasons, the main reason being he had decided being in a band wasnt what he wanted to do, which we can not argue with but it did upset us that we had come so far with him, but we did not panic, mainly because one of our best friends/roadies rung us up the day after jay leaving asking us if he could try out for the band, so 3 days later Luke was the new bassist of The Humour. So the last 2 months have been spent learning luke the songs we have already written, writing new songs with him, and doing some recordings e.t.c, that time is over now, and were currently tying up all the loose ends to our first U.K tour in July. which we are very very excited about!!

                                 The u.k tour is gonna be around 15 dates, theres still about 2 dates left to confirm but once their finished we shall post them all up here,cant tell you how excited we are to get out on the road, its gonna be one hell of a road trip! The last date of the tour is gonna be our headlining show at the cockpit, things are looking very rosy on that front, weve sold over 400 tickets so far for the show, so only 200 to go and its sold out!!got some sweet things planned for the show, lots of white flags and big balloons are in order I think.so stoked that were playing it!

                         and you will have all noticed the new photos we got up, so have a good old look and tell us what you think, hopefully we will have some new recordings up in the next month, were going in to the studio to basically record the entire 'album' of songs we have, were doing it all ourselves so its gonna take some tinkering but we want to do it ourselves because everyone else always seems to mess it up!!
