What's the reason? Good question..  They were protecting South Ossetia due to political agreement. Georgian troops attacked Russian peacekeepers at night and destroyed 70% of Tskinvali and killed more that 2000 people including women and children..  Russia had to protect refugees chased by georgians, which were escaping to Russia. Near 200 russian peacekeepers were killed and injured during the fight. Now the capital of SO is in ruins, and the conflict is increasing.. In sober fact, it was initiated by Saakashvili, who is just very obedient american puppet, who wants to get profit "in trade for" human lives. The day before (August 7) he promised Ossetians to permit the situation peacefully. And at night the war started.. One of the reasons of this massacre is american economics. Washington wants to save it's international position, not let the dollar to lose its place in the sun. They equipped Georgians  (not for free) with newest weapons and enginery. They got money. They're lucky. President Bush is playing volleyball in Beijing while Russian government is trying to stop the "meat grinder" is Ossetia.  In addition to all this CNN and BBC are publishing deceitful information that is fucking all the real facts up.. They've turned into miserable yellow press.

Sorry for predicting your answer, but I don't think that it's going to be long I'm shocked after news I've read on MSN and CNN, complete bullshit I must say.. I don't think that you're watching Russian news, but still, they are only truthtellers in this situation
