About

Tristan Tzara was: Robert (vocals), Ines (vocals), Miso (guitar), Chris (guitar), Sven (bass), Nils (drums) and later Thomas (drums).
Robert and Nils also were members of Kobra Khan. Nils is still creating some great stuff you can find here or here. Sven our bassist also plays guitar in Louise Cyphre, like Chris did for some time. Check them out on MySpace and on Last.fm. Thomas joined after the demise of Reno Kid. Find out more about them on Defiance Records. Robert runs a little distro and record label over here: Monotonstudio.
Visit our Virb and MySpace.
You can buy our records and some merchandise at Monotonstudio and other distros/labels worldwide, like: 29 North Records, Handstand Records, Electric Human Project, Interpunk, Greenhell Records, Pleasure Syndicate, Greed Records, Flight13...

"Screamo is not the most complicated music to make if you don't want to go all technical, but you need at least a background/history or a feeling for it. Tristan Tzara is the proof of this. They were (...) one of the best screamo/emo violence bands that I ever heard. It is even quite possible that these Germans created my all-time favourite emo violence band, no matter what great bands they started after the demise of Tristan Tzara. Their (...) CD that is now sold out is a goozebumpfest from start to finish. (...) Every part of every song is totally balanced out. A female singer that makes all her male companions bite the dust. Intricate little riffs between very melodic repetitions of great parts that get stuck in your mind forever. One of the coolest things about this emo violence is that there is a certain desperate urge, a rapid drive that makes you totally freak out. Tristan Tzara made the most beautiful angry music ever (...)"

"After half a minute of a skipping record sample, the first track, "Anatomies", start rocking like Fingerprint. Pretty hectic, in a mid-90's screamo sort of way. Spoken word over meandering basslines leading into high pitched, frenzied rockout sessions. Sort of Mohinderish, as well. The first eight songs are dope. The last track is a three minute long loop of "...our society is fucked up...our society is fucked up(...)". Guess what? (Seemingly) endless loops are fucked up, too. An 8 song, 15 minutes CD would have been better, but all in all, this is pretty rocking. 9 songs, 18 minutes."
