So yeah, school's kickin my ass this semester, but I just got back from Europe (thanks to said school) and I FRIGGIN LOVED IT!

I hate prejudiced people. I know that it's really hard NOT to prejudge certain things...but come on. Open up your little mind and actually get to KNOW someone before thinking they're just like everyone else you've heard of who may have similar traits.

I'm kinda seeing this guy, and his twin bro is talkin tons of shit on me to him. My guys gettin really pissed off at his brother, and I hate that I'm causing this rift. I know its not MY fault...if his brother would stop judging me by things Ive done in the past and get to know me, he'd see I'm not the same and I'd never do anything to hurt his brother. Not that I ever was that type of person, but whatever.

I am trying SO hard not to let it bother me cuz I know its not MY problem...but goddamn. Just cuz I have tattoos and used to party a lot...now Im a bad person. I had a 3some once...therefore I must be going straight to Hell and do nothing all day but fuck random people...and oh, since I've smoked weed before (yet done no other drug) I must be a pot head who needs therapy. What the fuck ever.

If he looked closer he'd see a caring girl who is dedicating her fucking life to working wtih children and fixing their lives. He's see a girl who refuses to party during the semester cuz she knows what's more important. He'd see a girl who is falling like crazy for his brother even though she had no intentions of dating him when they first met. And Zach knows the stuff I used to be into...and he was worried that Id turn out to be someone he wouldn't like...but as we've gotten closer he's realized that I'm not who I seem to be on the outside. Ya know, since tattoos indicate that youre a bad person.

I'm bitter. Why can't people be more open-minded?!?

I cannot believe I'm 25 now. I feel old.

They had to rip an infected stitch out of my belly today, too. Worst birthday present EVER!! But it was cool to watch. The stitches were supposed to dissolve but this one knotted up and shit. Pretty nasty. lol

I gotta get over the queasiness before I get into nursing school!!!!

I had surgery at 9 oclock this morning, removing my gall bladder. I should be laying in bed and resting, but here I am on TRIG.

This must be an addiction. lol

Ahhh...the darvocets need to kick in, though. I think I'll take two next time...they don't work so well.

As I've mentioned before, I tend to dream a lot... but I actually try to LIVE those dreams. Is that so wrong?

I was talking to a friend today, bitching a tiny bit about how I wish I was going to Hawaii again this year for my birthday (I was invited again with a free place to stay, but I don't have the time off work to go) and my friend leaves tomorrow to stay there for a month with her sister (which is where I would have stayed). Anyway, my friend said to me "You can't have everything."

My immediate response? "WHY THE HELL NOT?!"

His reply was "You're not rich."

Okay...I realize I work in human services and don't yet have a degree. I am an amateur photographer who rarely gets gigs, and never makes her clients pay that much, if at all. I realize I still live with my mom and dad cuz I can't afford to move out.

But I will be DAMNED if money has anything to do with following my dreams!!! I know I won't make it to Hawaii this year, but I'm just kinda tired of people telling me I'm not gonna make it anywhere until I'm rich. Fuck that!! Im rich in many, many ways...just not monetarily. And I just won't take NO for an answer when it comes to living life how I want it.

The reason I won't have time off work...I'm going to Europe in the Spring with college. I'm SUPER excited about that trip...Ive never been to Europe and I cannot WAIT to go...but does that mean I can't be a lil upset about not getting to visit my favorite island this year??

I don't get it. Why can't people just be like, yea it sucks you won't make it this time, but you will again soon!!! Gotta all be bringin me down with "you're not rich, Stef...you can't have everything."

Oh, I will have everything my little heart desires!! You just wait and see!! I guess it's just one more person I get to prove wrong someday!!

NYC + Christmas Shoppers = MADNESS

I don't think I've ever seen 5th avenue so freakin' crowded in my LIFE. I've been to NYC a few times the Saturday before Xmas...and this was just insanity.

We had a couple with us who just moved here from Australia 2 weeks ago...and I could tell they were REALLY freaked out. The girl was telling me how she's so used to her small town at home and this was just nuts to her. haha Poor girl!

I'm a lil upset I didn't get to see any of my NYC friends, but it's all good. Some of them were actually down HERE when I went up! lol

Oh well. I got some Xmas shopping done at FAO and AIX so all is good. I finally got to see Central Park, too! Hell, I got to see a lot of NYC that I've never seen, thanks to my friend's wife. My legs are killin me today, but it was definitely worth it!!!

Now...next time I come up there, I expect every one of you who LIVE there to be around so we can hang out!!!!

My best friend (who I've known since we were 3) is like a sister to me, and likewise her family is like my second family. This morning, some fucked up shithead tried to kill her brother-in-law. Why? He robbed a joint, her bro-in-law found him, suspect got pissed and shot him. FUCK YOU, KID cuz now you're dead. And I'm fuckin glad. Slime like that shouldn't walk the fuckin earth.

Yeah, theres a lot of twisted cops out there, too. Fuck them, too. Dave's a good fuckin guy with a great family and was tryin to help out the world. Thank god his partner kept shooting when Dave went down so that fucking cocksucker with the gun won't walk this earth anymore.

I don't have any religion, and I don't practice any beliefs...but I'm prayin for Dave that he pulls through tonight and recovers from this. Say a prayer for me, guys. For Dave.

I'm going to Germany, Austria, and Hungary at the end of March and staying for about 2 weeks. It's a school trip through my college, but I'll have some free time at night and all. I've never been to Europe and I'm super excited...does anyone have any suggestions of things to do/see while I'm there??? This is my itinerary of cities:

Day 1		Fly overnight to Germany
Day 2		Munich
Day 3		Munich
Day 4		Neuschwanstein • Tyrol
Day 5		Innsbruck • Salzburg
Day 6		Salzburg
Day 7		Vienna
Day 8		Vienna
Days 9,10		Budapest So if you've been there before, if you LIVE there, let me know all the awesome places I should see and things I should do when I'm not on tour with school! Mainly...what bars/shops/clubs/restaurants should I hit up? Thanks!!!

Neighbors in Need

I work full time. I go to school full time. I do photography gigs part time. And now Im volunteering as much of my freetime as possible for this thing my agency orchestrates every December called "Neighbors in Need". It's a holiday shop for those who can't afford to go out and get stuff for Christmas. This year, Im a co-captain of the boys and girls clothing section...and we are in sad, sad shape. We have NO CLOTHES. I mean, we have a couple boxes but, not nearly enough for the 500 families who will come in to shop next Wednesday and Thursday!

As I said, I do all that full and part time stuff and I still find a way to get out there and help. Hell, I even spent my own money to donate to the shop. Yet it seems that not many others around here really care about helping out their fellow neighbors. We accept new donations, and we give them away, based on applications, to the families that come in. They are allowed certain amounts of gifts, based on family size. I'm SO upset that we haven't gotten many donations.

So now, when I family with 5 young kids comes in and needs clothing...I'll be the one who gets to say "Hey, I'm sorry but we ran out of warm shirts an hour ago...here's a nice hat."
