Trig.com is currently under beta
Some sites let you upload whatever the hell you like, and that's fine, but we see things differently. There's a lot of great talent here on Trig - some known, some unknown - and we want to share that talent with you. When you find something that you like, you can add a music player to your People Profile.
You can find Music Profiles a few ways:
Which profile type you have will determine how you go about adding music to your player.
Once you've found some stuff you like, you can add it to your Profile. To do this, either click the + on song you want to add on the Music Profile's music player…
…or from their Media tab, which is described below.
Once you've uploaded your songs, you then have to add them to your music player. Just click the + next to the songs you want to add.
Now that you've added a load of cool tunes to your player, you have the option to embed it on other pages. Just click the share button…
…and then use the codes we give you for easily embedding the player into other sites.
Trig's Music profiles are for musicians to upload their own music, recorded by themselves. Trig's Music profiles are not for fans to upload their favourite bands' music, as is the case over at certain other sites. Like the warning says:
Trig.com does not endorse or tolerate actions or activities that violate the owner’s intellectual property rights. You may not display or publish, or in any other way modify, post, distribute, or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information that does not belong to you without the prior written consent of the owner. We are entitled to terminate Membership privileges of any Member who violates the copyright of others.
The easiest way to organize your music files is by making sure they have all of the correct information before you upload them. You can do this with an application such as iTunes. Trig will then sort your music into albums, corresponding with the information found in the ID3 tags. If you don't have this information in place, you can click the Edit Song button and fill all the information needed.
Like we said, there’s a lot of talent here at Trig, so we’ve bundled it all up for you as Trig Radio. To fire it up, click the “pop-up” link from a user’s player.
What will you be able to listen to?
