Using Trig
Your Network
Trig is all about hooking you up with new friends and making things happen for you. Whether you're just after someone new to talk to, someone to share your creative thoughts with, or a musician promoting your music and hanging out with your fans, Trig makes it easy for you to find new like-minded people.
Invite People
It's never much fun arriving at a party where you don't know anyone, especially when there's thousands of people who've been there for a while and all seem to know each other. It makes sense to want to have people around you that you know in such circumstances, so we've given you a nice big banner to click on and invite your friends!
Find People
There are a few ways you can go about finding new people to hook up with on Trig, and we've bundled them all into a tidy dropdown in the header.

- Go the whole nine yards and search through everyone on Trig.
- People Profiles
- Not bothered with the musicians on Trig? Just search through the People profiles.
- Music Profiles
- There are some really amazing bands on Trig, so use the Music Browse page to find something cool.
- Timeline Content Browser
- Want to find the most popular stuff on Trig, maybe even based on what we think you'll like? Try our Timeline Content Browser on for size .
- Browse By Tags
- Maybe you’re looking for people who are really into Liverpool, or eggs (hey, it does happen), in which case a tag search is what you're after.
- Quick Search
- Most people use the same usernames online, so here's a quick way to see if you can find who you're looking for via their username.
Add People
Networking sites are all about meeting new people. Once you've met them, it makes sense to add them as friends (because that's what you've become, right?). Just click the Add To Friends link in their User Info section and send them a friend request.
Block People
Can't we all just get along? Hmm? Eh, I guess not, sometimes. If you don't want a certain user to comment on any of your stuff or be able to message you, then just block them.
