Trig.com is currently under beta
There’s a lot of information available on your profile’s dashboard. Some of it is for your eyes only, while other information is for the whole of Trig to see, and is used by Trig’s Browse feature when people are browsing for other users with similar locations, ages, etc. Let’s take a look at that page right now.
At the top of every Trig profile is the User Info section. This is the first thing people will see when they hit your profile. Obviously, filling in all of this information is optional, but it helps other users get to know you.
Adding a profile picture is easy: just click the profile picture, choose a file from your machine, use the crop tool if necessary, and that’s all there is to it.
Everyone likes a one-liner to express how they’re feeling. Adding one to your profile is as easy as clicking the quote box, typing, and clicking a Save button.
The best guides to Trig will always be the members themselves. That’s why anything on Trig — images, blog posts, profiles — can be “trigged” by clicking the trig button.
It’s very straightforward: trigging something is like giving it your vote. You basically tell the rest of us you like it. The most trigged things will then make it to the top lists of blogs, profiles, and so on. In addition, everyone will have an overall count of how many times her or his stuff has been trigged.
The ranking on the lists will also be divided into categories like “Today” and “All-time”. That way, it’s easy to find both all-time favourites and see what’s popular right now.
When you’re logged in and viewing your own profile page, you’ll see a lot of statistics and notifications; from unread messages and comments, to friend requests and latest trigs on your stuff.
Currently, Trig offers users 250Mb of storage space for you to fill with images.
Accessible from the header of every Trig page, your Settings section is where you can make Trig work how you want it to.
Here, you can change settings for your Location, Gender, Screen Name, and User Name.
Not everybody wants to use all of the features that we offer, so you can choose whether to show/hide your Biography, Friends, Blog, Comments, Gallery, or Tags tabs.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so what might look rad to one person might look lame to another, and vice versa. We’re adding to the skins you can choose from all the time, and right here’s where you’ll find’em.
Maybe you can’t surf Trig all day long (aww, shame), but you’d like to know when people are saying nice things about you. In the Emails section, you can tick some boxes to receive emails when someone posts a comment or a message to you.
