'GARDEN OF CRUELTY' SINGLE OUT APRIL 16TH! TRASHFEST 2008 UPDATE!

A quick update from the studio!

The 'Garden Of Cruelty' single will be out on April 16th through Jäänsärkijä Records/Playground Music. The single features all-new artwork by Sami Havia. Be sure to get your copy at the local record store! The single is available worldwide through all the major digital music outlets.

For those of you who will be attending this years' TRASHFEST held at Gloria next weekend (April 18 - 19th) - Listen up!
We will be performing at 9 pm sharp!!! So be sure to be in time! Doors open at 8 pm. It's an ALL AGES/K-18 event and tickets are still available from www.tiketti.fi. Tickets are going fast though so be sure to get yours now! We will have new merch available at the event.

The Mama Trash All-Star Jam has been added to Trashfest featuring: J & Bones (Vanity Beach), Jyrki 69 (The 69 Eyes), Acey Slade (Trashlight Vision), Hot Rod & Slim Pete (Gemini 5), Anzi Destruction (Stereo Junks), Darin (Dope Stars Inc.) & Johan (Sexydeath).

The All-Star Jam will take place after Gemini Five's set and will take us into the After Party!

So yeah that's all for now. See you all at Trashfest 2008!

We're going back into the studio later this week to continue work on our new full-length album "TRIANGLE: A LIFE OF VICE" with producer Johnny Lee Michaels (The 69 Eyes)… We got so much cool new material and you guys will be amazed when you hear this shit… ! Song titles include: "Love Is Dead", "Clear The Entrance" and "A Life Of Vice".

We're playing a one-off show with our brothers Stereo Junks (http://www.myspace.com/stereojunks) on March 1st at Dubrovnik in Helsinki. Tickets (only 200 of 'em) for the event will be available shortly! So don't miss your chance to catch two of the hottest new upcoming bands from Helsinki in an intimate environment. We'll be performing brand-new unreleased material at the show.
We're also taking part of this years' TrashFest held at Gloria on April 18th and 19th (organized by the one and only Mama Trash). We're playing on Saturday, April 19th with Dope Stars Inc., Gemini Five and Stereo Junks. Skinny from Deathstars will be DJ:ing at the event. More info soon!

We recently shot some really cool new promo photos with French photographer Denis Goria. We'll post some soon! We're also planning on shooting a new music video for a new track within the next few months! We have a really cool production team lined up,,, and you're in for something truly spectacular! :P

Our good friends over at Keltainen Jaansarkija are releasing 'BATCAVE' as a 7" vinyl single in December. 'BATCAVE' will be accompanied by 'Garden Of Cruelty' serving as the B-side. The single features brand new artwork by Sami Havia. The single will be available for mail order at the WEB STORE soon.

AN UPDATE / ALL-AGES SHOW W/ PRIVATE LINE IN HELSINKI

Hello everybody,

We've been working our asses off in the studio for the past 2 months and finally have a little teaser of all the great things to come.

The new song "Garden Of Cruelty" turned into a mini-epic clocking in at 3:56. And for all of you naggers who complained about the lack of synths on 'Vengeance'… this one should take care of your needs 'til you get your hands on our full-length coming later this year!

We totally revamped 'BATCAVE' and the new version feels like a totally new song, which it basically is, as everything except for the lyrics pretty much changed. The third song 'Bitch In A Body Bag" is simply sounding heavier and more crushing than ever before! We've really enjoyed working in collaboration with producer/film composer Johnny Lee Michaels and furiously look forward to getting back into the studio with him! The single was mastered at Chartmakers by Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Vegastar etc.)

On another note we recently shot new promo shots with Ville Akseli Juurikkala (he just shot the new H.I.M. album cover and if you haven't checked out Ville's book 'Route 69' documenting The 69 Eyes' tour last year, be sure to check it out, some amazing photos).

Hey everybody,

shit,... it's been a while since our last update... !

For the past few weeks we've been holed up in Helsinki Underground Studios with producer Johnny Lee Michaels (The 69 Eyes) totally reworking "Bitch In A Body Bag" and "BATCAVE" and recording a brand new track called "Garden Of Cruelty". We brought Johnny along to realize our vision of how Vanity Beach is supposed to sound in 2007 and it's working real fuckin' good! This is the best shit we've ever done, both musically and sonically - We've definitely stepped up our game!
We plan on releasing these tracks in the beginning of June online and in CD format. (Please use the contact form at our website for promo requests… http://www.vanity-beach.com/contact.php )

We've also been writing and demoing new material and have an album worth of new tracks done already. We're looking to start recording a new full-length after the summer.

In other news…

On the 26th of May (THAT'S SATURDAY NEXT WEEK!!) we're playing a show at Dubrovnik in Helsinki with our homeboys Sexy Death.
