Hi! I've got two great kids - 14 and 16 years old and we live in the South Island of New Zealand. I love spending time with them and my friends, music and I 'm becoming addicted to walking and mahjong. I dislike housework but, like working and money, it is a necessary evil. LOL!! What else do you need to know? Check out my photos - I love New Zealand scenery. Not many yet but there should be more soon.

Forever young, that's what I am!!!!
Not for 5 more hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I picked Erin up today and I will do it everytime that I can, or I will have her wait in the school library, or get off at her friends house which is five minutes from the school and the bus actually gets there in that time, or she can take the shuttle to the school in town and I can get her there....I thinking of all the possibilities. It will just depend on whether I'm working and where!
The lunches are working out okay. The can get a salad everyday, and veggies and fruit. So far she's taken her lunch twice and bought twice. They also get a snack after morning recess and she takes fruit every day to eat then. So far so good
I think I'll be able to chill until Sunday night hehe
It's been very warm today, and it just feels like fall!! It's starting to really look like it too. The light is different, the leaves are changing etc. It's a perfect day to take some images, but It's about 5pm and I'm tuckered OUT!! I am actually thinking about napping
We can choose what jobs to accept. I will probably take all that I can possibly work out! But I can refuse a job with no penalty
Glad to hear you guys enjoyed you girls' evening!! And that the day turned out brilliant! I like the ones that start out cool and gently warm us up
Well...I seem to be doing better for the most part. I did not get my license renewed as my passport is too long expired and I didn't have an official copy of my birth certificate with me. Swung by Bridget's school on the way from the DMV as it's out the same road several miles. I met her teacher who seems like a cool guy. Bridget loved the classroom, found the bookshelf, chose one and sat down at her desk to read while we chatted. I met the Director...he's like a surfer dude/construction worker type, very laid back hehe...makes sense....Seemed likable enough.....
Mom found a copy of my birth certificate at her house. Thank goodness, so I'll be doing that on Monday after I drop Bridget off. OMG.
Got a call from the ESD an they e-mailed me my access code and pin number and I activated my account, and checked for jobs. None posted yet, but I heard 2 days ago that EA's were trying to post openings for subs and the system wouldn't let them, some I'm just trying to chill.
I have been comforting myself with crackers and cheese.
How's your day?
