Haunted

The dead body screams
In the forest where I saw my dreams
Running past the trees
In the midnight hour
When cop sirens echoed throughout the night
These phantoms and enigmas just run around
When everything begins to blur
I’ve had better days in the serpents spell
Haunted days
Better days in the eye of the storm
The dead body screams
But no one is listening anymore
So go and dig my grave
Its time to put this wounded beast to rest
And the scars you carved into my chest
Well, maybe it was for the best
In the forest, where the ghosts run by
Can you see where my dreams have gone
I walk past the tombs and the graves
Of fallen children
Broken people
Divided and never claimed
And I can admit, this is haunting
Another child gave in to the disease
And those rapists that wait behind every corner
They smile so unbelievably, its unreal
Can you hear the sirens call tonight
Its another tragedy, another carnival of lights and teardrops
The dead body screams, can’t you fucking hear its cry this time
Has the world gone so deaf and dumb
Is it because we only see ourselves in the looking glass
And never the ghosts of what was and always will be
I cant stand this purgatory in the serpents spell
This world is slowly going to Hell
When everything begins to blur
Everyone and everything look like ghost and phantoms
Enigmas on the run, from their own torment
And its making me feel haunted and horrified
And when you can’t hear the screams
Of the dead body no one will ever claim
It’s a scream that wont ever quiet
Until they are found
Until they are found so afraid
Sirens call and cop cars surround
The crowd begins to gather
And everything begins to blur
My dreams are found
Shattered, broken
Naked on the ground
