Pure flash is optimal for sites that do not care about organic search and care about cool visual experience, transitional effects and sheer power of "experience."

If done right, flash integrated with other packages can be the most functional/usable/impact experience on the Internet.

We are still in our infancy as far as flash on the web.

I've always wondered about pure flash sites. What usability issues do you see? Not selecting text, lack of search engine indexing (without extra work), non-proper links (also related to search egnines (ranking)) all add up for me. In browser effects are on par (or near enough) to not require flash outside of socket/byte loader/video parts (not to name all, and even video can be done without).

I guess I'm wondering where pure flash sites have their place in the modern web? Any thoughts?
