So Sunday was fun and then not so fun! Really late (like 11pm) on Saturday Steve had to be taken to the ER because his knee was bothering him. We found out that his knee was infected and that he had to stay in the hospital because he needed surgery. So I went to go hang out with him. So I got back really early Sunday morning just in time to get ready for the mall trip. I left around 8am to pick Jarred and I was wired on caffeine, lol! So we got to the mall a little before 9am to find out that Beth and the others were just starting to get out here. So Jarred and I tried to reserve a table at Ihop but it seems they won’t let you do that unless you have more then just 2 members of your 7 person party. So after about an hour they show up we get to sit and eat really good food. Afterwards we wander around the mall and we all get a bunch of stuff except Jarred and we meet up with Shannon’s new boyfriend; whom Beth and I decided to keep an eye on. Then we took off to Utopia and bought some stuff there. Even though I had card trouble there again, this is the second time! Afterwards I take Jarred home and I get home in time to drop my stuff off and I was a bought to leave when my Dad tells me I have to go to the hospital! Because Mom needs to get home and take a shower and do some stuff, Dad needed to stay with Ryan and his friend who was over and Steven was still out from the sleeping gas and they didn’t want him to wake up alone. So I called in sick at Pier 1 and headed over there. He finally woke up really cranky I might add. So I hanged out with him until mom got back. Then I went home did some stuff and went to bed. Then next day in the afternoon I was going to stop in and kill time until later tonight which we were having a showing at work. So I went to the gift shop at the hospital which had no packs of cards, what kind of gift shop doesn’t have cards? Anyway I walked into town and got some, talked to the people at the movies for a bit and then wandered back to the hospital. So I hung out with Steve and we played cards and watched TV. When Mom started to head out Steve had an emotional melt down, so I ended up deciding to stay with him at the hospital that night. We got the Ok from the head nurse (it helps when your mom is a nurse there) and I called up Kerry telling her I couldn’t make it. Well it sucked because it was so last minute that I had to sleep in the cloths I came in luckily the hospital had some stuff (like a tooth brush) on hand. Plus the bed kept moving on me! I woke up that morning like around 7am and was sitting there reading the paper when the nurse comes in and was like ok you go to come and get cleaned up and put on this stuff. I was like huh so I got cleaned up and put on a gown and gloves. It turns out his blood work came back and he has a staff infection so there was like a big red sign over his room door. I felt like I was walking into the plague! But it was pretty funny because Steve woke up to me standing over him in a gloves and gown and was like what the hell! He wasn’t allowed to leave his room at all because of it and that pissed him off! So the Doctor doing rounds shows up and I wasn’t sure if I should laugh or be worried because he was all over the place. He didn’t even read the red sign when he came in so he didn’t put the stuff on, I was like omigod Steve I hop this isn’t your doc! Then Mom finally shows up after 12 and I get to go home and change and get some new cloths. I head back and stop off at Rite Aid to grab some snacks. I get there and the Doc that was suppose to show up is going to be an hour late so I wander into town to stretch my legs and talk to Kerry and then head back. Steve finally gets released and can go home. I take a nap and was about to head out to Applebee’s when my parents freak out because they forgot to pick up the meds and the store is closed and this is my fault. So now Steve instead of going back to school on Monday now has to go back on Tuesday. I finally get out of there and head over to Riverhead which was fun because it was Beth, Kerry and I so it was kind of like a girl’s night out! And that was my crazy pass couple of days! Oh it seems this Staff infection is raging the school because some idiot let there kid go to school before the allotted time was given so now it’s running thru the school!
