Rome was better for Romans. Tribalism and Toasters.

It's strange that when I tried to impose rules, codes, guidelines, and beliefs on myself they had little to no effect on me. Now that I have cleared my mind of all my previous restrictions, I  find my beliefs coming close to a Hedonist. I have found myself caring quite a few Nihilistic qualities, which I will have to try to replace, but fundamentally hedonistic in concept.

Don't get me wrong I acknowledge that there are rules and laws within society, I just don't believe that most are correct or should be enforced. I believe in my own interpretation of moral and conduct, my own codes. I luckily believe my codes of living are well founded and reflect my personality. I will    not try to impose, qualify, explain my personal views on you, so don't bother to attempt to impose yours on me. If we get along as people, great, if not.. Oh well.

Firstly, I am not an Anarchist, I consider myself more of a Modern Tribalist. I believe there are at least two types of personalities when referring to society patterns. Those who need, require a structure to follow for ease, direction, and self limitation. Then we would have those, who feel oppressed by it, over limited in their general pursuit for happiness and life. Most people from both types desire a "Government", though not all are able to adopt and thrive within the same types of government. Some people don't want to have to make many important life decisions, however want to feel a sense of control, whether it exists or not. These people usually do fine in a structure like the one we have in place today.
Then there are the ones who are more tribal in nature. Tribes are still governments, just smaller, more connected, a large family in essence.

II really see no reason why in our modern age of tolerance and political awareness, why we as a people cannot accept and acknowledge modern tribal societies.

Of course you will always have some entity attempting to control a modern society, at least attempt to convince them to co-exist if that was even possible. How can a Tribal Nation be claimed by another, expected to exist in it's natural form while under a mandate of another society driven by completely different theologies and philosophies? Taxed and forced to perform under under the dominator's lifestyles, currency, and legal systems.

No one is free, it's merely an illusion. I am not saying any particular government is evil or even wrong. I am saying that you cannot expect all types of personalities to be restricted or confined to the same concepts or structures. All those so-call "Hippies", Freeloaders, or Slackers" for example, could thrive, be more at home with a society of different structures than a Surgeon, Engineer, or a  Businessman. Of course this is all theory, we know that a person with a Tribal mindset can in fact co-exist, I am merely expressing the notion that I believe they should have the right and freedom to exist however they choose. To say that Rome is better than the tribes of Free Gaul, is quite frankly a lie. Rome was better, for Romans, everything is perspective. Freedom and structure for you maybe slavery and oppression for another.

To say any government is better than another is really quite impossible, they all serve a purpose for someone, they are all good for some people, while miserable for others. No one is really worthless, just not everyone should be so limited. Depression after all is proven to kill productivity.

Everyone has the right to decide things for themselves, no one should have the right to force anything upon another, just leave people the fuck alone. Peace, yes I  used "that" word. Accept that everyone is different, there are different cultures, beliefs, and religions. That will never change, no matter how long, or how hard you try.
