Dr. Andrew DiMeo is a 20 year seasoned expert in the Biomedical Engineering industry. He is founder and former executive director of the NC Medical Device Organization, which became an NC Biotech Center of Innovation. He also co-founded and became VP of Business Development for the design and manufacturing company EG-Gilero.
From designing, to business advising, to teaching, to lecturing and training other innovators all around the world, Dr. DiMeo has a hand in virtually every aspect of modern day BME as we know it. He believes in creating not just extraordinary equipment to bring us boldly into the future of healthcare, but also taking the time to ensure comfortable next-level user experiences built in to every piece he designs.
In his personal life Andrew appreciates adventure! Walking, biking, and kayaking keep him outdoors exploring Raleigh. He also enjoys trying out new local breweries.
