Trig sponsors 2012 PDMA Innovate Carolina Conference
Durham, North Carolina’s Trig Innovation is proud to partner with the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) as a platinum sponsor for the organization’s upcoming Innovate Carolina conference.
The Carolinas chapter of the PDMA will host its third annual innovation conference on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Entrepreneurship Music Arts Collaboration (EMAC) at Raleigh, North Carolina’s historic Long View Center. The conference will feature several leaders in corporate innovation, including Greg Hopper of NetApp and Iain Gray of Red Hat, as well as Stephen Shapiro, one of the foremost authorities on innovation culture and collaboration.
The conference will feature several presentations, along with multiple breakout sessions focused on a variety of topics centered on product design and development. Speakers and panelists for the conference represent a broad range of industries, including companies and organizations like Bank of America, Innovare, the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Sealed Air, Gilero, Novant Health, and Burt’s Bees.
As part of the company’s platinum sponsorship, Trig Innovation will be working with the production team at PDMA Carolinas to ensure an optimal experience for attendees and speakers, according to Ty Hagler, Principal at Trig. “We’re excited to be partnering with the PDMA again for this great conference, as we did at last year’s event at UNC Charlotte and the previous year at UNC Chapel Hill,” stated Hagler. “We’re thrilled to have this event in our back yard again this year, and we’ll be helping with video production, logo design, direct mail templates, and PowerPoint templates for the conference.”
According to Hagler, what sets the Innovate Carolina conference apart is the diversity of the industries represented, as well as the spectrum of opinions on innovation management offered by an unparalleled array of speakers. “I can honestly say that after each of the first two Innovate Carolina conferences, my team brought back a host of ideas that we immediately put into practice for the benefit of Trig clients. Last year, for example, we found ourselves stunned by the visionary ideas of New Kind’s David Burney, as well as the leadership paradigms explored by the Center for Creative Leadership’s David Magellan Horth. We’re particularly excited to see that Mr. Horth will be sharing his wisdom with attendees again at this year’s conference.”
